I lived near
this area for over fifteen years and at times the coves take
on the look of a Manet painting with lots of water lilies and
koi just under the surface. This lovely sycamore was once hit
by lightning and a local resident filled the open base with
cement to help save this treasure. I guess it worked because
that was in the sixties.
