The first time I met Piper and saw this
property, she jumped into this dory and positioned herself
looking directly at me. I think in anticipation of a short
voyage around the pond. Piper later became mine, when I found
out that her owner had a new home and could not take the dog.
I have done many paintings of her over the years.
