I
have the greatest respect for the police in this country and
personally
think
being a Police Officer can at times be one of the most
challenging jobs on the planet.
Over
the years, traveling out of Canada, I have become very aware
that we
Canadians
are blessed to have such a dedicated and competent police
force.
This
painting expresses my feelings of thankfulness for all the
men
and women who put their lives on the line every day for you
and for me.
The
Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario, was established in
1962. This
oil
painting by London artist Ken W. Jackson was painted to
commemorate
the colleges 50th Anniversary in 2012.
