There are places in Ontario I have painted
that take you back to an earlier time; a natural time machine.
This area is like no other that I have ever seen and why I
titled this painting, "Pre-Cambrian Oak". The
colours in the rocks are incredible and every tree has to take
advantage of what soil there is between the granite out
croppings. This is the largest tree in the whole area sitting
on one of the highest points. You talk about tough.
