I believe it was not coincidental that I
ended up painting this landscape, and all the other images of
this area. While driving back from Ottawa in late November, I
had this strong urge to pull over to take a break and then
while on my little walk heard the sound of running water. For
about fifteen minutes I followed this little stream uphill and
over many moss covered rocks. It was just above freezing and
everything had a silvery wet quality from the falling snow. I
climbed over the last rock outcropping and just stood there at
the beauty, I was in awe at this wonder of God. |
